Trust and auto mechanics generally are not used in the same sentence but Ming and his team are trustworthy, considerate, and customer-focused. The service and communication are better than what I have ever experienced at the dealer-owned service departments. They focused on what needed to be fixed, repaired some small issues for free, and let me know every step of the way what they were doing and why. Cory and Ming are the Batman and Robin on car repair.

I drive an older car (heading towards 200,000 miles!) and thanks to regular oil changes, I never had any problems with it until a year and a half ago. I’ve taken my car to Ming’s three times in that time, and they have done a great job each time. I love that they text and email, and I love that they send detailed lists of the work they do, along with pictures. You can probably find lower prices at other shops in the area, but I’d rather pay a little more and know that my car is taken care of. Thanks to Ming and Cory for a great, honest shop!

Ming does excellent work, even if his service rates are higher than average.

Perfect place to take your vehicle for maintenance. Ming is friendly and thorough. Ming understands that there are probably tens if not hundreds of things you could do to maintain your car, and with each inspection, he lists those items and is clear which are essential in the moment, which will be needed in the near-medium term ("brake pads 30%, likely need to be replaced in 3-6 months depending on mileage driven"), and which are cosmetic or not really necessary (for example, my older car's malfunctioning tire pressure sensors are better served by just checking periodically). As such he has helped me prioritize repairs and avoid over-spending on the maintenance of an older car. The car has been running perfectly. The drop-off process has always been seamless, and he always finishes the repairs on time and returns the car in good order clean to me. He is the best mechanic I have ever been to, including when the car was younger and I used to take it to the dealer. Every trip to the dealer felt like they were trying to sell me something; when I go to Ming, it's like seeing a friend who knows a ton about cars but also has your best interest at heart. Wonderful mechanic and person. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly modern service in small local shop

My Land Rover broke down and had my vehicle towed to Ming’s Auto Repair. Ming immediately looked at my Land Rover and diagnosed the problem. Great communication with the shop. He was able to repair my vehicle and have it ready for pick up the same day. I will be using Ming’s Auto Repair for my automotive needs in the future.
