Fix my car up real good no matter how many issues

Ming's Auto Repair is a humble shop nestled in the neighborhood right in Allston--between Cory and Ming they do a great job on the cars that they work on. They even work with their customers to get the best parts (i.e. whether they are willing to help me save money by bringing my own parts)! That means they're not just a business and what they care most about is a job well done and that is one of the first things I look for in a Mechanic. There's just a couple of caveats; they don't do Vehicle Inspections and Ming doesn't work on Trucks and other large passenger vehicles!

Friendly, courteous, detail explanations of what options are available upon examination of the car during tuneup on a 2013 Honda CRV. I was able to discuss and choose what needed immediate care and repair and what could be acted upon six months from now. That’s great service in my opinion.

Ming not only did great work on my nearly 10-year old Range Rover Sport, he clearly and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. He is patient and honest and very easy to work with. His office manager Cory is also super helpful.

The shop gave me good suggestions to consider for alternative tires that were cheaper, but I went with the expensive ones anyway (well, I love my Dodge Charger). Allowed me to shop the tires myself and ship them to the shop. Took good care of my car as if one of his relatives was going to be driving it (no, we're not related). Ming knows all five of the cars I've owned since 1984 and I trust him to take good care of whatever I'm driving.
